Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using provided diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network infrastructure changes and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system outages
- Train junior staff on network best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for equipment installation
- Valid Missouri driver's license for on-site service calls
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
