Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Create and refine complex prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to maximize output quality and accuracy.
- Model Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of AI responses to identify biases, hallucinations, and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Engineers to define AI behavior and user experience goals.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt libraries, best practices, and testing methodologies.
- Iterative Improvement: Continuously iterate on prompt strategies based on user feedback and performance metrics.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and generative AI to implement cutting-edge techniques.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience in prompt engineering or a related role within the AI/ML space.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Language: Exceptional command of the English language, including nuances in tone, context, and instruction following.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex AI output issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
