The Role
As a Prompt Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining prompts that yield accurate, safe, and high-quality outputs from AI models. Your work will directly impact product quality and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine complex prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and custom models.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing to optimize prompt performance and response accuracy.
- Analyze AI-generated outputs to identify biases, errors, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Create documentation and libraries of effective prompt templates for internal teams.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI research and apply them to practical use cases.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or content strategy.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools for professional tasks.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills for flexible schedules.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus but not required.
