Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network configurations, create technical documentation, and maintain asset inventories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects and system upgrades
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for complex network incidents with remote and on-site resolution
- Conduct regular network audits and optimize resource utilization for peak efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper routing and switching technologies
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and packet analysis (Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, and VPN implementations
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex network issues autonomously
- Valid Arizona driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
