Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewall policies and network security devices to prevent unauthorized access.
- Enforce security policies and ensure strict compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and internal standards.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, malware infections, and system anomalies.
- Generate comprehensive security reports and present findings to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into development and operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Experience with incident response frameworks and security governance standards (NIST, ISO).
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
