Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) hardware and software.
- Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve connectivity issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure network security compliance by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance logs accurately.
- Collaborate with IT management to upgrade network infrastructure and implement new technologies.
- Conduct routine network audits and perform cable management tasks.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in network administration, troubleshooting, and hardware installation.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift equipment and work in server rooms or crawl spaces.
