Responsibilities
- Execute manual test plans and test cases to identify defects and bugs within the software lifecycle.
- Document, track, and verify the resolution of software defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform regression testing on updated builds to ensure existing functionalities remain intact.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test scenarios and test data.
- Verify that software functionality aligns with business requirements and user expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation.
- Familiarity with web-based applications and mobile app testing environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while meeting strict deadlines.
