Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for NLP models (GPT, Claude, etc.) to achieve desired outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into prompt engineering solutions
- Document prompt strategies and create reusable prompt libraries for consistent AI interactions
- Analyze model outputs to iteratively refine prompts for accuracy and bias mitigation
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and techniques through continuous learning
- Mentor junior team members on prompt engineering best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in prompt engineering or related AI/NLP roles
- Proficiency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot AI model limitations
- Excellent written communication and creative problem-solving abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects
- Experience working with Python for API integration and data analysis
