Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Monitor network performance and implement security measures to protect systems
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal teams and clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network equipment
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid Minnesota driver's license for occasional on-site visits
