Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure from cyber threats
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network upgrades and expansion projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network hardware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
