Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using diagnostic tools and remote monitoring
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for VoIP, wireless networks, and cloud services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades
- Train end-users on network best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco/Juniper hardware and VMware environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with diagnostic tools like Wireshark
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
