We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Part-Time Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for a data professional seeking a flexible schedule while contributing to high-impact business decisions.
Key Highlights: We are offering a comprehensive Relocation Assistance package for candidates who wish to transition to our primary operations hub in Texas. This is a hybrid position allowing you to work from Louisville initially, with the option to relocate.
In this role, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and actionable business strategy, ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights that drive growth across our operations in both Kentucky and Texas.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards (using Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders in Louisville and Texas.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Relocation Support: Assist in the migration of data systems and provide documentation to support the transition of operations to the Texas office.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly analytical reports that summarize findings and provide recommendations to the management team.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data and collaborate with IT to maintain our data warehouse infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a part-time or freelance capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R, and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Excel: Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation Flexibility: Willingness to relocate to Texas (or work remotely from Texas) with assistance provided.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
