Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Business Intelligence: Support the business strategy by providing insights on market trends, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
- SQL & Database Management: Write efficient SQL queries to extract data and maintain database integrity.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, finance, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
- Tools: Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL (Relocation Assistance provided).
