Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive visualizations and dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive, clear, and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into strategic insights.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for process improvement based on data-driven findings.
- Data Governance: Adhere to data security protocols and ensure compliance with internal data handling standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the technology or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries), Excel (advanced functions), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a part-time capacity.
