Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings clearly.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business recommendations.
- Database Management: Assist in querying databases using SQL to retrieve specific data sets for ongoing projects.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a part-time or internship capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
