Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Document security architecture and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Valid CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network defense.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and encryption protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
