Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM environment (Splunk, QRadar).</li><li>Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support for internal systems.</li><li>Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001 standards.</li><li>Collaborate with the engineering team to implement robust security controls and firewalls.</li><li>Provide security training and awareness sessions for junior staff and clients.</li><li>Document security incidents and create detailed technical reports for stakeholders.</li><li>Stay abreast of the latest threat landscapes and emerging cybersecurity trends.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Active CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent certification preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security or information security.</li><li>Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation tasks.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.</li><li>Availability for part-time hours (20-30 hours per week) on a flexible schedule.</li></ul>
