Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination and threat hunting activities
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Perform forensic investigations for security incidents
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
