Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach containment activities
- Analyze security logs to identify patterns and recommend preventive measures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Create security awareness training materials for client staff
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize threats
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
