About The Job:
As a Part-Time Cloud Engineer, you will bridge the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for designing resilient architectures, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring our systems remain secure and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure architectures on AWS or Azure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs to proactively troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity management and encryption.
- Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to optimize application performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, Load Balancers).
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
