Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java, Python, and Go
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using AWS and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve complex system issues during peak business hours
- Lead code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for scalable microservices
- Automate testing frameworks to ensure 99.99% system uptime and reliability
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Participate in agile ceremonies with distributed teams across time zones
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with night shift exposure
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages (Java, Python, or Go)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system troubleshooting experience
