Responsibilities
- Network Installation & Configuration: Deploy and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, latency problems, and hardware failures efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network diagrams, configurations, and system upgrades.
- System Upgrades: Assist in the installation of new network hardware and software updates.
- Support: Provide technical support to internal staff regarding network access and security protocols.
- Compliance: Ensure all network installations adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring Cisco and Juniper network devices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
