Responsibilities
- Install and Configure: Deploy and configure local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks according to company standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Maintenance: Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and security patches to protect data integrity.
- Cabling: Execute structured cabling tasks, including fiber and copper termination, and rack and stack equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, diagrams, and inventory logs.
- Support: Provide technical support to internal staff and external clients regarding network connectivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or certificate in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Valid Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, and IP addressing (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
