Responsibilities
- Install and Configure: Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Cabling: Perform structured cabling tasks, including fiber and copper installation and termination.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and technical documentation.
- Security: Implement and monitor network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Remote Support: Provide remote troubleshooting assistance and support for remote employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA or equivalent industry certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Tools: Experience with network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
