Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Document all technical incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Participate in regular training sessions to develop troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network stability and system performance.
- Support users with password resets, account access, and software installations.
- Monitor inventory levels for IT equipment and report shortages.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
