Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Resolve hardware/software issues with minimal downtime (SLA-driven)
- Implement security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Document network topology and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migrations (AWS/Azure)
- Support VoIP systems and wireless networks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in Cisco/Juniper hardware and protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell)
- Experience with SD-WAN and zero-trust architectures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proactive troubleshooting approach with root-cause analysis
