Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Implement network security protocols (VPN, IDS/IPS) to protect organizational assets
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture optimization
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues across distributed environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud networking
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with systematic root-cause analysis abilities
- Strong communication skills for documenting procedures and training end-users
