Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and investigate alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination and forensic analysis
- Develop security policies and procedures aligned with NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
