Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects
- Provide remote technical support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Perform regular network maintenance and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and support
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto networks
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
