Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software stability.
- Document, track, and prioritize bugs using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Perform regression testing on new builds to ensure no existing functionality is broken.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design appropriate test scenarios.
- Conduct performance and security testing to optimize application speed and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Experience with SQL for database querying and verification.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium).
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
