Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Implement network security protocols (VPN, firewalls, intrusion detection)
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or Network Administration (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network support experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper hardware and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with network monitoring and automation tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis ability
- Ability to work independently and manage remote infrastructure
