Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades to ensure system stability and security.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues efficiently and effectively.
- Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to optimize network traffic and performance.
- Conduct security audits and implement necessary protocols to protect data integrity.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
Qualifications
- Valid Network Technician certification (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in network administration or support.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure.
- Proficiency in working with Cisco and/or Juniper network equipment.
- Experience with fiber optics and structured cabling standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
