Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency, security, and performance with CI/CD automation pipelines
- Lead Kubernetes cluster management and serverless architecture implementations
- Develop disaster recovery strategies and conduct regular cloud security audits
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with on-premise systems
- Monitor cloud health using tools like Datadog/Prometheus and implement proactive alerts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 3+ years cloud engineering
- AWS/Azure/GCP certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS/AKS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and IaC tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST, SOC 2)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-cloud environments and optimize costs
