Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and investigate potential breaches using SIEM tools like Splunk
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate remediation activities
- Analyze malware and attack vectors to enhance threat intelligence
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen network defenses and patch management
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving abilities
