Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades on routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures with speed and accuracy.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement new security protocols and ensure system integrity.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to clients as required.
Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or field service.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
