Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform daily network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues in a timely manner.
- Document network configurations, changes, and inventory records accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new network projects and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Certification such as CCNA, Network+, or CCNP is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with structured cabling (Cat6), fiber optics, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
