Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.
- Perform regular network audits to ensure system integrity and security compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software network issues efficiently.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
- Document network topology, changes, and configurations for future reference.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and access.
- Collaborate with IT management to plan and implement network upgrades.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- Certification such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA is a strong plus.
- Proven experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
