Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine maintenance on network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and changes for future reference.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network security protocols and VPNs.
- Conduct cable management and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Fresno area.
