Apex Network Systems is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Technician to join our team in Kansas City, MO. We are looking for an immediate hire to manage our expanding IT infrastructure and ensure seamless connectivity for our enterprise clients.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular network audits, security patching, and system updates.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and technical procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement new network solutions and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to internal staff regarding network access and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Cisco CCNA or Network+ certification is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the metro area.
