Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Perform regular network audits, security updates, and performance tuning.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and change logs.
- Collaborate with system administrators and engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network hardware and connectivity.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and data protection standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid Cisco CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with fiber optics, cabling standards (Cat6), and wireless controllers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be willing to travel to client sites within the Milwaukee area.
