Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and security updates.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot latency or bandwidth issues.
- Manage access controls and firewall configurations to ensure data security.
- Document network topology, configurations, and changes for the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Network+ certification preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and VoIP systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), and VLANs.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
