Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Perform thorough manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure high-quality standards.
- Bug Tracking: Log, track, and verify bugs using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with the development team for timely resolutions.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression test suites after software updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with project managers and developers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in UAT processes to ensure the final product meets business requirements and user expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and at least one automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Appium).
- Tools: Strong understanding of bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test results effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
