Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and security to ensure high availability.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs using industry-standard protocols.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for compliance and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement network upgrades and security patches.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity and access.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Juniper JNCIA is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Strong understanding of network security best practices and firewall management.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
