As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network systems, ensuring data integrity and security across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and manage VPNs to facilitate secure remote access for employees.
- Perform regular network audits and apply security patches.
- Collaborate with the IT team on server migrations and cloud integration projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal users regarding network connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network administration.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Experience with network cabling (Cat6) and hardware maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
