Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps and logs to developers.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing after code updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress to streamline the testing process.
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Performance Testing: Assist in load testing and performance analysis to ensure the application scales under user demand.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Tools: Proficiency in manual testing and automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Database: Solid understanding of SQL for database querying and data validation.
- Methodology: Experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
