Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to protect network infrastructure.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and incidents according to incident response protocols.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure application architecture and cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and threat hunting methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
