Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security controls and compliance frameworks
- Analyze threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate emerging risks
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cybersecurity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
