Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and security protocols
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for network-related user requests
- Implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with cloud services providers for hybrid network solutions
- Train junior staff on network best practices and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with both wired and wireless network infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
