Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize traffic flow
- Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect sensitive data
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business goals
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously
- Valid Colorado driver's license for occasional on-site visits
