Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using provided diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and network monitoring systems
- Document network infrastructure changes and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment upgrades and replacements
- Train junior technicians on proper equipment usage and safety protocols
- Optimize network performance through regular testing and analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure support
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and routing protocols
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba equipment
- Ability to work independently with provided equipment in field environments
- Valid driver's license for client site visits
- OSHA 10-hour certification (company-provided training available)
